Talks and contributions to development communities in Medellin: JamStack and Node Colombia

My participation in Medellín emerged through Python Colombia (PyCon 2018–2024). Those national events were crucial connection points with developers from Bogotá, Medellín, and other cities. These were not isolated contributions: they were natural extensions of the national ecosystem.

JamStack Medellin: Markdown and JavaScript

Collaboration with Kristian Moreno to give a talk on Markdown in JamStack.

Talk introducing Gatsby for modern web page development.

• Topic: Gatsby, React, and static site generation for scalable web applications
• Community: Node Colombia
• Impact: Key in my transition to Medellín; I connected with people who reinforced my knowledge in JavaScript and the web ecosystem

It expanded my technical horizons beyond Barranquilla, integrating me into a national network of developers.

Context: These contributions demonstrate systems thinking and active participation in national ecosystems, not scattered activities. Everything emerged from commitment to Python Colombia and the national networking that PyCon generates.
